Suck It Cancer
Thanks for checking out this page. This year I’m taking a stand against cancer. Maybe you are too. This year I’ve joined Movember, a movement to help end Men’s prostate cancer. Too many good men are being taken away from us way too soon. Men like my husband’s dad, Barney who passed away in 2009 from cancer. My daughter, Ryleigh is now almost 4 and asks about her Papa almost every day. While Barney didn’t die of prostate cancer, someone else’s Papa will. Barney had a rare form of throat cancer as a result of Agent Orange, and after battling it for over three years, we lost him.
Take a Stand Against Cancer with ME
But it’s not just prostate cancer I’m fighting. Personally, I’m fighting all kinds of cancer too as it has affected my family in a big way. My sister in law was diagnosed with breast cancer just 6 months after my father in law passed away and had a double mastectomy. When diagnosed she was just 35 and is the mother of two young and wonderful children. Today, three years later she is cancer free. So I’m asking for your donation to Movember to help end men’s prostate cancer. For every dollar given, I will match the donation to fight breast cancer (up to $5,000) and give to the Susan G. Koman fund. This money will be given out of my own pocket. Yes, I feel that strongly about it. You can’t put a price on life, living, and memories. I know that Ryleigh would agree.
By donating you will help me not only fight prostate cancer but breast cancer as well. So click on the snazzy button below (or click here) and help me tell cancer to suck it.
Cancer Changes Lives
Cancer seems to be infiltrating our lives, well, like a cancer. I’m not the only one who’s been affected by cancer here at Blogging4Jobs. Many of our writers have also been impacted. You can read some of our awesome content on the subject of life, death, and cancer below. Thanks for taking the time to hear our story and support the cause to tell cancer to “suck it.”
