The 2015 SHRM Annual Conference is nearly upon us. June 27-July 1 in sunny Las Vegas, 15,000 HR professionals will be joining together to connect, learn and share everything human resources and recruiting. SHRM Annual is one of my favorite conferences, but because of its size, it can be extremely overwhelming. It’s the reason we developed the Las Vegas Conference Guide as well as our unofficial party guide. You need to research, stay organized and prepare for the crazy that is #SHRM15.

Episode 41 – How to Get the Most Out of #SHRM15

In this special #SHRM15 Workology Podcast episode, I thought it best to go straight to the source. We’re talking with three HR professionals and conference veterans who are able to share best practices, tips and general guidance on how to make the most of your SHRM 2015 Annual Conference experience. Our experts on how to get the most out of #SHRM15 include:

  • SHRM Annual Speaker, Lance J. Richards (LinkedIn | Twitter). Lance has some great insights into making the most of SHRM especially when it comes to navigating the vendor hall and managing your time. He has two sessions. I’m making sure to be attending at least one of these!
  • SHRM Conference Veteran, Paul Belliveau. (LinkedIn). Paul talks about time management, networking and using technology to your advantage. He’s a past guest on our podcast. Listen to his insights on how HR Should Be Involved in STEM.
  • Las Vegas Local & SHRM Conference Veteran, Tammie Grenier. (LinkedIn | Twitter). Tammie gives insights into enjoying Las Vegas from a locals POV as well as how to navigate the hot June Las Vegas weather as well as the cold convention center.

Be sure to listen to the podcast as these guest have some surprising nuggets and valuable insights to share. Make some time to connect with them during the conference as all three are great examples of why the HR profession is truly unique. Have a tip? Be sure to leave yours in the comment section below.
