The use of marketing in recruiting has come a long way in a very short time. Employment branding and recruitment marketing has come a very long way in a short time. You might be considering creating a video for your talent acquisition and recruiting efforts, but it is extremely time consuming to research and locate a cross section of videos that are currently in the space. Well, I’ve got you covered.

The 11 videos included below demonstrate how recruitment and employment branding videos come in all shapes and sizes. They are a great way to share with candidates information about a specific job opportunity as well as help provide insights in what makes your company unique. It’s a great way for an organization to put a very personal and unique stamp on what makes your company interesting, wonderful and great place to work.

Since 2012, I have been writing an annual blog post first this one & this one  that shares with readers some of the best, most hilarious and interesting videos. I ran into the Nordstrom Talent Acquisition team. They are some of the most fun recruiting people you will ever meet. Their YouTube channel has a number of videos. Who wouldn’t want to have an employee who feels the same way about the brand and company?

Edwards Lifescience wanted to utilize their photography because they have a person who does a lot of in house work for them. They are working on a low budget but would still offer engaging storytelling on what makes them unique.

I believe that sometimes recruiting and talent acquisition teams believe that you have to re-create the wheel with new campaigns every 6 to 12 months coming up with new concepts to share with prospective candidates. In 2012 Zendesk released their first recruiting video called “This is Zendesk” and 2 years and 1 IPO later, they used the same concept and created an updated version of a simple and clear employment video that you see above.
