Upcoming Events & Festivities for OK Blog Week
Created as a way for bloggers to network and learn from another across the state. Whether you are a seasoned blogger, mommy blogger, or soon to be blogger, we can all learn from one another. The cost is FREE and includes food courtesy of the Oklahoma Prosperity Project promoting the upcoming election and voter registration.
Register for all or one of the following OK Blogger Meetups.
- OKC Blogger Meetup– Oct. 5 at Red PrimeSteak in OKC (REGISTER)
- Tulsa Blogger Meetup– Oct. 7 at Melting Pot (REGISTER)
- Norman Blogger Meetup– Oct. 7 at Iron Starr Urban BBQ in Norman (REGISTER)
We need your help! As a viral event to create awareness around blogging (the AP recently recognized blogging as a form of media), we ask that you blog, tweet, and facebook to help promote the event.
- Use the #okblog hash tag so people can follow the event on Twitter
- Participate in our Oklahoma Blogging Week Carnival. Answer one of the following questions–Why are Oklahoma bloggers special? Should we be recognized as media? What makes you blog?
- Email or DM your blog post link and title. I will include it in the carnival on Monday, October 4th. My email is jessica@xceptionalhr.com.
- Video or blog about the carnival or event. Include the event link in your post. I will post the blog posts on the blog post and carnival.
